About the Author
Jerzy Kwiatkowski was born in Poland in 1925. He was arrested by the Gestapo in 1942 and sent to Majdanek concentration camp. He was liberated by the Soviet Army in 1944. After the war, Kwiatkowski emigrated to the United States, where he became a successful businessman. He died in 2015.
